Sun Tzu

Sun Tzu was a general and strategist in ancient China, traditionally credited with The Art of War, the oldest and most influential treatise on strategy ever written. Its lesson is not how to fight but how to win without fighting: through preparation, deception, knowledge of yourself and your opponent, and striking only where you are strong and they are weak. Generals, leaders and founders have read it for 2,500 years.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.
